Looking for a new home.....

.... and it's leaving us, mostly just me, frustrated.
House hunting is hard. Especially when you're a young couple who's on a budget but still wants to be in a good and safe neighborhood (and the wife just might have babies on the brain.)

So pray that God puts the perfect little place in our path. Whether it's to rent, lease or buy.

At Starbucks yesterday...

I walked away from that sweet coffee shop asking myself, "was I just flirted with by the barista?"
Whoa.
I ordered an iced venti white chocolate espresso with breve, and it should have cost me about $4.
But I didn't end up paying that amount. After I rattle off my order and handed the guy my card he winked at me and handed me my receipt, where I saw I was charged for a brewed coffee.
Thinking this was a mistake I was going to say something when he handed me my drink across the counter.... Until I got another wink from him and that's when I knew my under charged coffee was no mistake.

Weird huh? At least for me anyway...

The Little Mermaid themed wedding

So Disney themed weddings are trending..... say what?!
Thank goodness I discovered Pinterest after I got married; or I would have spent way too much money on my wedding.

Even their entire wedding party was dressed as Disney princesses and princes.
How dang adorable!

Dark Shadows movie review

So to start this post off, I'm going to let you know that I am a sucker for old world gothic architecture. Movies like Clue and Dark Shadows totally feed my love for that lost art of home decor. So I found an article from the set designer of the movie; and they had pictures of the Collins Castle from the  movie!
Here they are:

Pretty dark (as is the setting of the movie, I mean come on, it's Tim Burton!) But good grief wouldn't that look marvelous with a few open windows and sunshine on a spring day??

And I also found some movie stills (thanks to Pinterest)

Overall if you're a Tim Burton fan you must see this movie. My husband wasn't a huge fan of the movie, and he's not much in to Tim Burton, so it wasn't quite his cup of tea. The movie has a sense of seriousness to it with just enough humor and awkward moments to keep you laughing all the way through. You find yourself rooting for this poor vampire who is blissfully ignorant to the new settings of modern day around him.

I say go see the movie. It's funny. And good grief Johnny Depp is the leading actor! What more of a reason do you need to go see this??

Dark Shadows

I am, and always have been a HUGE Johnny Depp fan. He's just awesome. So right now I'm waiting in the theatre to see Dark Shadows with my hubby and brother (thank goodness for the Blogger app on my phone)
I'll post a movie review afterwards ;)
Have a great night!
